Game and Fish offers wolf info by phone and web

JACKSON (AP) -- The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has established a phone number and a Web page to address questions and concerns about wolves and wolf management in the state.

Game and Fish set up the phone line and Web site after the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced last week it would remove wolves in the northern Rocky Mountains from the federal endangered species list.

Once wolves are delisted, they will be managed by Wyoming, Idaho and Montana.

Game and Fish spokesman Eric Keszler says the announcement has spurred a flurry of questions from people across Wyoming.

People can visit the Web site, http://gf.state.wy.us/wolfinformation/wolfQ&As.pdf, any time or call 307-777-4655 during business hours.
