Eddie and Irene Martinez celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Feb. 4. They were married at El Buen Pastor in Cheyenne.

They met in their neighborhood at a young age and it was love at first sight. They raised two children here in Cheyenne. The couple has one granddaughter who resides in Utah with the couples great grandchildren. Their love has grown through the many years of devotion to each other and their families.
