Christine Kelly-Hemmy, 59, of Cheyenne passed away Jan. 13.
Christine was born Nov. 11, 1960, in Buffalo, N.Y., to Patrick Kelly and Waltraud (Kueck) Kelly. After graduating high school, she moved around the country before calling Cheyenne home for 25 years.
She met the love of her life, Henry Montoya, in 1995. Her life revolved around her six amazing children and 11 grandchildren. She was an extremely hard worker, always focused on providing the best for her family. She loved cheering her beloved Buffalo Bills and always had a piece of her heart in Buffalo with her family. Later in life, Chris took advantage of her love for travel, visiting the Caribbean, Canada and Alaska.
She had the most infectious smile and laughter. Even through many years of battling cancer, she never complained.
Chris is survived by her partner, Henry Montoya; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Brittany Macdonald, Brian and Denise Macdonald, and David and Karyn Hemmy; three daughters, Leah, Jenna and Kaylee Montoya; 11 beautiful grandchildren; and her brothers and sisters, Jon and Ellie Foster, Michael and Debby Kelly, Patrick and Julie Kelly, Kevin and Leilani Kelly, and Patricia Foster and Dennis Rowell.
