CHEYENNE – A community meeting will take place this evening as officials launch the new Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program.

LEAD is a collaborative pre-arrest diversion program between the community and law enforcement that diverts arrests for misdemeanor nonviolent offenses that occur due to substance use, mental health and poverty.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Cheyenne Public Safety Center, 415 W. 18th St., in the first-floor community room.
