CHEYENNE – Average retail gasoline prices in Wyoming increased 4.5 cents during the past week, averaging $2.30 per gallon Sunday, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com’s daily survey of 494 gas outlets in Wyoming.
This compares with the national average that has increased 4.3 cents since last week to $2.54 per gallon.
Including the change in gas prices in Wyoming during the past week, prices Sunday were 4.8 cents per gallon lower than the same day a year ago and 8.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 20.6 cents during the last month and stands 0.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy historical data, gasoline prices on March 18 in Wyoming have ranged widely over the past five years: $2.35 per gallon in 2018, $2.19 per gallon in 2017, $1.84 per gallon in 2016, $2.19 per gallon in 2015 and $3.39 per gallon in 2014.
