CHEYENNE – Between Friday and Monday, Aug. 23-26, the Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office will move from its temporary location in downtown Cheyenne to the first floor of the Herschler Building.
The office’s new location will be adjacent to the recently renovated Wyoming State Capitol.
“Whether in business, elections or in any of the many areas where we directly interact with citizens, we will shoot for as little disruption as possible during this transition to new office space,” Secretary of State Ed Buchanan said in a news release.
The Secretary of State’s Office has been located in the Wyoming Financial Center, 2020 Carey Ave., since November 2015. When extensive renovations to the Capitol began, the Secretary of State’s Office left the Capitol, where the office had been originally located since before statehood.
The Secretary of State’s Office will close at noon Friday and reopen Tuesday with regular hours at its new location. The new address is: Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office, Herschler Building East, Suites 100 and 101, 122 W. 25th St., Cheyenne, WY 82002-0020.
