CHEYENNE – Wyoming State Park Permit gift certificates are now available for purchase as Christmas presents.

The gift certificates are redeemable for annual permits, which provide 2020 access to all state parks, historic and archaeological sites and recreation areas. Gift certificates are available only at State Parks Headquarters, located in Cheyenne.

Wyoming State Parks’ annual Early Bird Special also begins soon, with discounted prices on annual day use permits through Feb. 15. During the Early Bird sale, resident annual daily use permits are $34 ($40 regular price), and non-resident permits are available for $63 ($70 regular price).

The Early Bird sale of the annual permits will be underway at selling agents statewide. Permits are also available online at www.wyo-park.com, or by calling 877-996-7275.

Cheyenne: Wyoming State Parks (Museum Gift Store).

Cody: Cody Chamber of Commerce.

Gillette: Rocky Mtn. Discount Sports.

Glendo: Halls’ Marina, Glendo Trading Post, Howard’s General Store.

Permits can be also purchased at most State Parks and Historic Sites, but call ahead, as some parks and sites are closed during the winter months.
