CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Business Council had extended the deadline for CEO applications to Nov. 25.
Existing applicants are still being considered and reviewed after the Nov. 25 deadline. The starting salary for the CEO is $140,000, and further salary considerations will be made based on the applicant’s experience.
The CEO will be in charge of leading the agency and helping create economic growth for Wyoming. The CEO will also report to a governor-appointed board of directors.
“It is essential that we offer a competitive benefits and salary package to attract and motivate a leader to drive the important work of the Wyoming Business Council and the state of Wyoming,” said Megan Goetz, Wyoming Business Council Board of Directors co-chairwoman, in a news release. “After careful review, the advisory search committee feels that our initial job postings may not have been clear what candidates can expect from us for compensation.”
