The Laramie County commissioners have scheduled hearings to change a zoning regulation which, if passed, would negatively affect citizens of the county.

Current Laramie County Land Use Regulation 2-2-100 requires any high-capacity animal containment facility (feedlot) to be a minimum of three miles from schools, towns/cities and residences. The commissioners are considering reducing this requirement to one mile, and have scheduled hearings to do so.
