Medical students unlikely to settle in Wyoming, thanks to lawmakers

This is in reference to "An unintended consequence of some bills going through the legislature? Physicians not returning," Wyoming Public Media, Feb. 3, 2023.

While any number of medical students from Wyoming prepare to graduate from the University of Washington medical school here in Seattle, Wyoming frantically considers or passes a dizzying array of legislation to deny health care services to pregnant women and gay people. Of course, such “Taliban-esque” legislation, and the attitudes which drive it, are hardly unprecedented or unpredictable in Wyoming.
