Larry Ray wrote concerned that Liz Cheney was not properly representing her constituents. Instead, she's chosen to adhere to her oath of office and fidelity to the constitution.
Last May I wrote an opinion piece about the quandary elected officials often face.
I believe our founders require each elected official to adhere to the oath of office to ensure our elected official's first loyalty is to the Constitution and laws of the land. This protects the integrity of those positions from those who might undermine them.
While I totally disagree with many of Liz Cheney's policy positions, I admire her loyalty to her oath of office. Those who are upset with her need to remember that her positions are ones most in Wyoming support.
Those positions should be more important than loyalty to one individual.
