A death notice can publish one day in print and online at no charge. The notice can include a photo of the person and specific details which can be found on the submission form. There must be a clear connection to the Rawlins Times coverage area. Full obituaries are charged based the number of words and the number of publication days. Pricing starts at $140 for 150 words. Paid notices include an online guestbook on Rawlinstimes.com, and a permanent archive on Legacy.com. It is requested that funeral homes use Memoriams.com.
Death notices and obituaries are due by 11:00 a.m. MST Tuesday for Wednesday publication and 11:00 a.m. Friday for Saturday publication. The Rawlins Times publishes two days a week, Wednesday and Saturday. Be aware that some holidays may alter deadlines. Payment is required before deadline.
