CHEYENNE – The No. 2 doubles tandem of Josiah Moyte and Jeramiah Moyte helped the Cheyenne South boys tennis team edge out Rawlins 3-2 in a Thursday afternoon dual. They defeated Drew Dilworth and Connor Holcomb 6-2, 6-2.

Andrew Lock topped Spencer Searle 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and Nikolas Lock bested Griffin Searle 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.

Patricia Hartley helped the South girls secure a 4-1 win. Hartley defeated Alexis Townsend 6-4, 4-2, after Townsend retired early. The No. 1 doubles pair of Bailey Lock and Jamie Jones beat Buena Clark and Kadence Chaves 6-3, 6-2 while Lexi Taylor and Anaya Moore won at No. 2 doubles. Sarah Willoughby and Laynie Ramirez earned a victory at No. 3 doubles.

The only match Rawlins won was at No. 2 singles by default.
