Former Laramie County Community College women’s soccer coach Jim Gardner will be inducted into the National Junior College Athletic Association Women’s Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame later this year.

Gardner coached the Golden Eagles from 2003-2019, guiding them to 11 NJCAA tournament appearances. Those NJCAA tourney berths included four trips to the semifinals.

Gardner coached 34 NJCAA All-Americans and was Region IX coach of the year eight times. His career record at LCCC was 250-70-28.

“No one is successful alone, and success is never achieved by being on an island,” Gardner said in a news release from the school. “The help and support I have had from everyone at LCCC has been amazing even to this day. My assistant coaches were the best in the country, and my wife Lisa did more behind the scenes than anyone will ever know.”
