Fourth-year Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named AFC offensive player of the week Wednesday. It’s the seventh time the University of Wyoming graduate has earned the honor.
The 25-year-old completed 32 of 43 passes for 358 yards and four touchdowns during Buffalo’s 43-21 victory over visiting Washington on Sunday. He also rushed for nine yards and a touchdown on four carries.
Those five touchdowns gave him 100 for his career. The 6-foot-5, 237-pounder has completed 79 of 127 passes for 807 yards and seven touchdowns with one interception through three games this season. He also has rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries for Buffalo (2-1), which hosts the Houston Texans at 11 a.m. Sunday.
