The University of Wyoming men's basketball game Tuesday at Nevada has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the Cowboys program.
It's the second consecutive game UW (11-2 overall, 0-0 Mountain West) has had postponed due to COVID issues. The Cowboys' home game with Boise State on Saturday at postponed less than 30 minutes before the scheduled tip off.
The games will be declared no contests if they can't be rescheduled.
The Cowgirls (5-6, 1-1) were slated to host Boise State on Monday, but that game had to be postponed due to COVID issues within the Cowgirls' program. UW was without four players – two starters and two reserves – for their 66-60 loss at UNLV on Friday.
Both UW basketball programs navigated the 2020-21 campaign without being the reason any games were postponed due to COVID. The Cowgirls had the final five games of their regular season canceled, while the Cowboys missed two contests.
