The University of Wyoming men’s basketball team will have to wait a little longer to begin its Mountain West slate.

UW’s game at Fresno State on Saturday has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the Cowboys’ program, marking their third consecutive postponement to begin MW play.

Wyoming previously had games against Boise State and Nevada postponed. The game against the Broncos was called off less than 30 minutes before tipoff last Saturday due to concerns within BSU’s program. The Pokes postponed Tuesday’s game against the Wolf Pack the next day.

As of now, Wyoming will begin its conference schedule Jan. 12 at home against San Diego State. The Aztecs are 9-3 on the season with a win over UNLV in their only MW game, while the Pokes are 11-2 overall.
