The University of Wyoming women's basketball team will have to wait a few more days to return to the court.
UW’s upcoming home game against Fresno State, scheduled for Sunday, has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the Bulldogs’ program. Per Mountain West policy, the game will be ruled a no-contest if it cannot be rescheduled.
This marks the third postponement in the span of a week for the Cowgirls, who had to postpone games against Boise State and San Jose State due to COVID-19 concerns of their own.
Wyoming’s next scheduled game is against New Mexico at home next Thursday. The Cowgirls, who are 5-6 overall and 1-1 in conference play, have not played since Dec. 31.
